Using child-friendly ingredients and silicone moulds, Pre-school 1 created fragrant bath bombs. Once set, we used them to create ‘potions’ with, watching and listening to them fizz and change colour whilst smelling the different aromas.

Birth to three – babies, toddlers and young children will be learning to:
- Start to develop pretend play, pretending that one object represents another. For example, pretending that the mixture is a witches potion as it’s nearly Halloween.
- Explore different materials, using all their senses to investigate them. Manipulate and play with different materials.
- Use their imagination as they consider what they can do with different materials
3 and 4 year olds will be learning to:
- Explore colour and colour mixing.
