In Preschool last week we have been learning about disabilities, including sight and hearing loss. We took it in turns to experience sight loss wearing a blindfold with our friends guiding us around the room (see our Facebook page for a video!). We also held a real hearing aid and thought about what it would be like if we couldn’t hear or see. This made us think about how important and helpful our sign-a-long signs are to help children who might have difficulty hearing or speaking to communicate.
