There are many benefits to ball play
Having a ball in Preschool!
Ball play at a young age can help children to develop their gross-motor skills, such as kicking, throwing, catching, rolling and bouncing.
When children participate in simple co-operative games with their friends, this helps them to socialise, practice sharing and taking turns.
Ball games can help aid attention and focus as the children watch their partner, aim and co-ordinate their movements.
Ball games facilitate active play, having fun and a sense of achievement
