Having a ball in Preschool!
– Ball play at a young age can help children to develop their gross-motor skills, such as kicking, throwing, catching, rolling and bouncing.
– When children participate in simple co-operative games with their friends, this helps them to socialise, practice sharing and taking turns.
– Ball games can help aid attention and focus as the children watch their partner, aim and co-ordinate their movements.
– Ball games facilitate active play, having fun and a sense of achievement
