The babies have been exploring lots of boxes, big and small! We got inside them to make boats, we put them on our heads to make hats and we stacked them up high to build big towers. The babies also enjoyed crawling into them, climbing over them and playing peek a boo around them! It was a great opportunity to use positional language, to gently encourage the babies’ awareness of concepts such as ‘in’, ‘on top of’, ‘under’ and ‘next to’.
