The toddlers have been tickling their taste buds with exotic fruits
The Toddlers have been feeling totally tropical today when they enjoyed looking at, feeling and tasting berries and exotic fruits!
The children explored pineapple, raspberry, blackberry, mango, passion fruit, kiwi and pomegranate. They handled the fruits whole and were interested to look inside when cut to see the colours, seeds and shapes. The children talked about the feel of the different fruits: “hard, furry, soft” and the different tastes and textures “yummy, sweet, yucky, sour, slimy”. We’re really proud of the children for showing interest in trying new things.
