We have recently been enjoying taking the children out on walks to the library and parks. The children have been elated to see the ducks and swans at the park. We have borrowed some interesting books about nature from our local library, the babies have begun looking through the pictures and pointing out features that interest them.

Many of the children have been enjoying playing in the mud kitchen, feeling the textures of hard, slimly and dusty mud.

We will continue to develop their interest in textures by creating opportunities to play in gloop, natural scented water, and various other messy activities. We will encourage them to engage in using all of their senses to explore.

If you could spare plastic bottles of various sizes and shapes we would be delighted to have them to create some sensory bottles for the children to explore!
