Last week the children in Pre-school enjoyed a wonderful visit from the animal lady. She brought along a variety of different animals such as a snail, scorpion, snake and rabbit . She also sang a story about going on an animal hunt, which the children really enjoyed. They joined in with the repetitive phrases and also guessed where each animal lived.
As our visitor brought out each animal, Pre- school sat and listened carefully to all the interesting facts about each one. They were really engaged & interested in learning about the different animals and asked some excellent questions. Then came the chance for the children to touch or hold each animal. Some of the children were very brave and caring, understanding that they had to be gentle so that they didn’t scare the animals.
