The Pre-toddler room have recently been extremely interested in water and foam as we love to get messy! The children enjoy feeling and exploring the foam soap that can be bought from many local supermarkets! This gave us a great idea to get the children involved in having a go at making our very own foamy soap! We collected together all the things we would need and the children helped mix the ingredients together. To get the best foam, we found out we had to whisk the ingredients together nice and quick. The children loved helping and found this very funny! When we had finished we poured the foam into our messy tray and the children explored the texture and consistency and enjoyed getting very messy! We then added different materials and the children incorporated pretend play into their messy activity.

Ingredients: Hand soap, flour and water! As simple as that!
