In Pre-school one we have been looking at the different seasons. We talked about that we are in autumn and the different changes we have seen such as leaves turning yellow and orange and the change in weather towards being cloudy and raining. Outdoors we have been enjoying collecting the leaves using tools appropriately and accordingly for tasks such as a wheelbarrow for collecting the leaves and brush for brushing all the leaves into a pile. This has really helped our fine and gross motor skills and working alongside each other and responding to what each other are saying. We enjoyed talking about the living things that are born in autumn such as hedgehogs and the animals getting ready to hibernate ready for the cold winter months.
