To start their exploration into textures, the babies went on an adventure into the Animal Kingdom last week. They built simple structures with blocks, explored the animals and their sounds and went stomp crunch stomp! through the dry cereal.
Then, in the dry texture tray, the babies uncovered and inspected sensory objects buried in the sand, dried food and cereals.
In the wet texture tray, the babies babbled excitedly when they realised they could squeeze and squash the shaving foam between their hands, stir it with a brush and make marks with it too!
