We turned our creative area into an allotment
Preschool 1 have been exploring fruit and vegetables in the run up to Harvest Festival week.
We converted our creative area to an indoor ‘vegetable patch’ with soil and vegetables. The children uncovered and investigated the vegetables with a variety of tools such as graters, peelers and scissors to discover what was inside, developing their fine motor skills. It was interesting to discover the similarities and differences between them and learn lots of new words too!
