The Toddlers at Bromsgrove have been very interested in their likes and dislikes, sharing their opinions on different foods.
The Toddlers at Bromsgrove have been very interested in their likes and dislikes, sharing their opinions on different foods. So we decided to make our very own pizzas, encouraging the children to try and describe the different toppings and whether they like them or not.
The children were able to follow the instructions, be independent in selecting their own toppings and also used mathematical language of quantity such as ‘one handful’, ‘lots’ and ‘more’.
We plan to extend this by taste testing more foods with the children, including marmite!
