The toddlers have been practising their self-care skills

From a very young age, the children show a desire and interest to help with dressing/undressing and hygiene routines. By introducing activities such as washing and caring for the baby dolls and brushing their teeth, the children can practice their skills and dexterity within role play, supporting and encouraging them towards independence in self-care as they grow

EYFS:

16-26 months: Health & self-care: Shows a desire to help with dressing/undressing and hygiene routines.

22-36 months: Health & self-care: Beginning to be independent in self-care, but still often needs adult support.
