Babies in the soil!
The Babies have been preparing for Mothers day by painting plant pots and putting seeds into them! Scooping up their own soil and helping to water them after too!
To follow on from this we set up a soil tray which the babies have had lots of fun getting very muddy in! They have been using their hands to feel the mud, as well as using spoons to scoop the mud into plant pots. The babies have also smelt the soil and even tried to taste is, but it wasn’t very nice! They also enjoyed exploring the other natural objects in the tray, like sticks and leaves.
