The Hinckley Toddlers enjoyed exploring the seasons, and showed a particular interest in autumn. So they started making an autumn display board. They collected real leaves and painted them using autumnal colours. Whilst painting the leaves the children were also able to think about the texture of the leaves, some of us thought they were “soft”. As well as this we also gathered up lots of sticks and mud from the garden to make our trunk. They really enjoyed using gloopy glue to stick the twigs and mud onto the paper too!
