The babies have enjoyed making their mark

This week the babies have been exploring mark making. They enjoyed using their fingers and hands but also experimented using different rollers and brushes to make their marks. The children showed high levels of engagement in this activity as they discovered the different marks they could make with the different tools. One of the children wanted to “put their whole self in” to the tuff tray to explore with their whole body. The babies also communicated using different sounds to show their interest, and engaged with each other, looking at what their friends were doing and even offering tools to their friends.
