Bonfire mark making!

Inspired by the fireworks and bonfires this week, Hinckley Babies have been busy with lots of different activities focussing on mark making and getting very messy!

The babies really enjoyed creating bonfire collages using leaves and glitter, as well as paintbrushes and their favourite bright paint to make different marks similar to fireworks. We have also been developing our fine motor skills, especially when we used lollipop sticks to make marks in the glitter. Some of the babies were able to hold the sticks steady in one hand and others used their fingers!

Extending on from all the bonfire and firework mark making fun, we then enjoyed making marks with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg scented paint, it smelt so lovely and we got very messy again!
