The children in preschool 1 had a go at making their own pizzas.

The children in preschool 1 had a go at making their own pizzas.  They were each given a wrap, tomato paste and a selection of toppings such as ham, cheese, sweetcorn and peppers. The children used a knife to spread out the tomato paste onto their wrap and were asked to select the topping they preferred for their pizzas.

We invited the parents along to come and help their children which made the experience even more exciting!

Next steps: We will continue looking at different form of cooking such as making sandwiches, soups and baking cakes this will encourage the children to think about change, healthy eating and give them opportunity to ask questions
