Three Billy Goats Gruff!

This week Pre-school 1 have been exploring the story Three Billy Goats Gruff. We all gathered around in a circle listening closely and we loved joining in with parts of the story too.

Using their imaginations and the story they had heard, the children then created their very own billy goat’s gruff scene. They had great fun recreating the story and trip trapping the goats over the bridge, saying “Who’s that trip trapping over my bridge!”. This enabled and encouraged the children to interact with their peers, as they imitated the things they had read and heard in the story.

Next we went into the garden and using our assault course made our own bridge! Someone pretended to be the troll underneath, and the others had to secretly creep over the top, not getting caught by the troll! TRIP TRAP TRIP TRAP.
