Last Friday the preschool children enjoyed learning about the meaning of Eid. Khadija helped the children explore the Muslim celebrations that take place at the end of Ramadan by reading them a story. They all listened carefully and discovered how this worldwide festival breaks a month long fast, when friends and family come together to pray, celebrate and eat together.
Then came chance for the children to get creative by making their own Eid celebration cards. Choosing and colourfully decorating with paint, brushes and glitter was great fun!
