Although the babies are too young to understand the meaning of “It’s coming home!”, they are definitely soaking up and responding to the excitement and buzz of the Euros final all around them in their own way, enjoying lots of messy and active experiences this week.
– The babies have enjoyed getting messy whilst making “football” biscuits, adding and stirring ingredients. They iced the biscuits independently, whilst having a good taste of the icing in the process! (who doesn’t?!)
– Using a choice of art resources such as crayons, paint, glue, glitter the children enjoyed making marks on their own flags!
– We’ve been working on our gross motor skills and co-ordination with ball skills in the garden too!
