This month Pre – School are focusing on movement and physical activity.

We are learning lots of new skills and ways to move, exploring movement in a variety of ways, both indoors and outdoors. This is a great way to promote and incorporate our “Startwell” program into the children’s day. The children have been practising and learning about kicking and catching large balls, yoga stretches and poses, jumping onto numbers and landing appropriately, balancing in different ways and this week we started our extra-curricular activity, “Stelissa Fitness”, where the children dance and move in lots of fun ways.

Everyone has had a great time getting involved, demonstrating and taking part with all the activities. This is really helping the children to learn, whilst building their confidence and encouraging them to participate in an active lifestyle.
