The Toddlers outdoor activity originated from the children looking at the different insects that were in the garden.

The children in the Pre-Toddler room have enjoyed reading the story ‘The Tiger who come for tea.’ Inspired by the story, the children enjoyed exploring the role play area, so they set up their own café on the patio area (with the help of the adults for moving the furniture!). The children enjoyed a variety of activities within the Tiger story theme including creating and decorating their own café sign, attempting to find the Tiger in the shredded paper and exploring the sensory tray. In the ‘Pre-Toddler café’ the children were encouraged to use their cutlery and drink from an open top cup, which links to our Startwell targets aswell as the EYFS.
