Say cheeeeeeeeese!
Exploring their senses, the babies rolled up their sleeves and made their own pizzas. We used the high table to encourage physical development, as the children used it as support to pull themselves up and cruise around to select their ingredients. The children mixed cool Greek yogurt and fluffy flour to make dough, using their hands to manipulate and prod it, showing lots of interest in how the dough felt. Once it was flattened, they used a spoon to spread the tomato puree, showing developing co-ordination and use of one-handed tools. Starwell’s Fay 5 a day then helped them to choose their yummy, healthy toppings to put on (and around!) the pizza!
