BBC WM wants schools and nurseries across the West Midlands to join them on the ‘Get Moving’ campaign … encouraging everyone to move a bit more and live happier and healthier lives!

So when Kings Norton manager Maggie had a call from BBC WM radio to arrange a visit, herself and the team were delighted to welcome the breakfast show presenters to Shooting Stars. The presenters were very impressed with the wonderful garden and track, perfect for encouraging physical activity and having fun! They even had a run around the garden themselves with the children!

The Shooting Stars Kings Norton team can’t wait for the radio interview to go on air to share the ‘Get Moving’ message across the West Midlands. It is expected to air on the BBC WM 95.6 breakfast show between 8-8:30am on Wednesday 15th May.

At Shooting Stars Nurseries, the children already enjoy the great outdoors as part of their daily routine. Nonetheless, the whole team is very excited to be involved in the campaign as it’s so important for young children to take part in and enjoy physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.
