The babies have been baking and really enjoyed exploring the ingredients used to make biscuits. They took turns pouring the ingredients in to the bowl and used the spoon to mix the ingredients together trying to keep everything in the bowl! Next they used a roller to roll the dough out flat and then attempted to use the cutters. With a little adult help to push the cutters through the dough they made some great shapes.

The babies have also been having a great time with sensory play, exploring lots of textures. The children helped add different materials in to the bags, such as glittery water, pasta, oil and water, flour, dough and paint. Then placing the bags on our easel, the children independently accessed the sensory bags to feel all the different textures and choose their favourite.
