Today in Pre-school one the children have really enjoyed making chocolate rice crispy cakes. Mixing the melted chocolate into the cereal, the children talked about how they could smell the chocolate saying, “Ooh chocolate”, as they took it in turns to mix it together. The children concentrated carefully using spoons to scoop out the mixture to fill their cupcake cases. We noticed and talked about how the chocolate goes hard once its dry’s and cools and can’t wait to try the cakes!
