Today the children have had lots of fun exploring colours by mixing together different sensory materials to make foamy paint.
The children added shaving foam, glue and paint together in a pot and used a paintbrush to mix it around and transport it to the paper making different marks and talking about what they are painting. They really liked feeling the texture of the foam on its own, pushing their hands through the foam and watching it evaporate. The children were encouraged to use describing words to tell us how the foam feels.
