Stourbridge Pre-school have been getting creative in the garden potion making!

The children helped to collect different utensils from around the garden to mix water, paint and glitter together. Choosing to make a love potion, the children pumped the paint into the jug and used the paintbrush to mix and stir the paint in well. They poured some of the potion into the saucepan and some children decided to add glitter, then stirred it well! We used small cotton tea bags inside a sieve and the children really enjoyed holding the tea bag filled with the ‘love potion’ and then squeezing it out! The children talked about people who were special to them and who they loved, some of the children said they loved their friends at nursery and their family and that this potion was for them.
