This week the Toddlers have been working on their physical development.

This week in Toddlers we have been developing our physical development.

Following and as part of our ongoing training, staff attended sessions focussing on early years physical development. Children’s physical development begins with building strength in their core muscles and this can be achieved during tummy time. With this in mind, today we took part in a mark making activity, although in a different style. We stuck paper under the table for the children to explore. They loved this new and exciting way of drawing laying down on their tummy’s & back and it encouraged the children to engage their core muscles as they lean and stretch up to draw.
