Last week the Toddlers enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. We did lots of fun activities like eating our lunch with chopsticks and trying to pick up cotton wool balls using the chopsticks. We worked together to make and decorate a giant Chinese dragon using boxes and collage pieces. We looked at and copied Chinese symbols and enjoyed making our own spring rolls, especially choosing the ingredients and rolling them out! We even fed our dolls in the home corner using chopsticks and they enjoyed sharing the spring rolls with us too!
