Following our interest in creating Chinese new year decorations, we have really enjoyed painting hanging boxes. We loved painting them as they were spinning, using steps to reach higher boxes and using our balance to stop us from wobbling! We laughed lots as we got paint all over our faces.
Toddler 2 have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. We have explored noodle and rice play, using our fine motor skills to get to grips with chopsticks! We made our own playdough using Chinese spices to enhance our sensory experience.
We have even had a go at some Chinese writing, observing the symbols and using special Chinese paper to create our own.
