Worcester nursery are enjoying a Spooktacular week celebrating Halloween. We have enjoyed bringing in pumpkins to nursery and representing our experiences through play by creating our very own pumpkin patch. We have enjoyed weighing our pumpkins, transporting them to the home corner to make pretend pumpkin pie, making number lines and learning a new pumpkin song! We have loved helping to make spooky decorations, creating salt dough pumpkins, pumpkin crafts, using pins and elastic bands to create a pumpkin geo board and making Witch’s brews. Pre-school have enjoyed reading the Funny Bones book collection and learning the Skeleton dance! We can’t wait for our pumpkin party on Friday!
